Original Mellotron Recordings...

On the new Mellotron.com sample CD that is supposedly coming out soon, there
are some pretty cool mandolin samples...

Were these loaded on the original 'Trons, or were they custom tapes, or
???...

Anyone know the history of these samples?  Who played them?

Being a mando player, I'm kinda interested in these.

This is great !

These are some of my favorite " new " sounds that I have gotten on real 
tapeframes....The Mandolin tremoloes are great and the harp is celestial....

Very cool indeed...

You can hear the mellotron mandolin on the Rolling Stones track,
Factory Girl on Beggars Banquet and also on the Cream track, Badge.
