i don't see three 1/4" outputs anywhere.
are we counting the footpedal jack as an output?

anyone else have multiple outputs on their 400?

[...and the knobs are awful looking IMHO, but a trip to radio shack*
would fix that for about 5 bucks...]

Jeff,

My Tron #1562 has three outputs including the foot pedal. In the back, one
is XLR and the other is 1/4 inch. These were machines sold by Sound Sales.

As for the knobs, mine came with the same shitty looking knobs you see in
the photo. Streetly hooked me up with the proper ones. Mine still has the black
and gold control panel faceplate, but for those that have one but don't like
them, the black decal can be removed and the stock Mellotron faceplate is
underneath.

PS. here is a photo. It is not me in the photo, though. This was when we
were staging Anglagard for their NEARfest 03 performance.

is it a "proper" balanced +4 XLR output, or just wired to an XLR jack?
[i don't see one on the ebay unit]

aaah - the sound sales units.
i think the one i restored a couple years ago was one of these, but sans
XLR output [i could be mistaken though]?
the serial was in the 10xx or 11xx range if i recall.

i have one improper replacement knob on mine.
i cracked the original myself when i overtightened it.
i did the same thing to a knob on my minimoog too.
yup - i am an idiot sometimes.

a result...]
