Re: quote "only known 'tron in Utah"

A few weeks ago, I heard the CD by Salt Lake City's The Brobecks, titled "Happiest Nuclear Winter", buying it at one of their live shows when they came up to Oregon and Washington. Although they didn't play any Mellotron live on tour (at least when I saw them), the CD is full of pop/psyche songs that brim with string and flute 'tron. I wish I had heard the CD before I saw the show--then I could have asked the member of the band listed as playing "keyboards" (Brian Todd Szymanski) whether they were samples or not. www.brobecks.com Nice CD--kind of has a light connecting drift a la S.F. Sorrow meets the Monkees' "Head". Just thought I'd mention this in case this leads to a possible second Mellotron in Utah if indeed the band recorded the CD in SLC or has their own unit. At last count I believe there are three in Oregon, four in Washington and one in Idaho.
