Please read the following excerpt from Telharmonium history :

"Meanwhile, with the increased concert broadcasts,
technical problems began to surface. One was a steady
downward drift in the instrument's tuning. Another was
uneven volume, resulting in a sudden lowering of volume
when chords were played. There was also a cracking sound
that resulted from staccato notes. "

Doesn't this sound familiar  ??  Like  Mike Pinder's objections
during the MK-II days of VFO....... History repeats itself......

Hey Jerry and Telharmonium fans,

Amazon has a VHS video available for merely $79. I think it's the 
same as the 3 video clips here: http://magneticmusic.ws/mmvideo.htm

I recommend downloading the clips so you can adjust the QuickTime 
screen size. It's a nice documentary, but no clips or samples of the 
instrument.

One website I visited says that there was a keyboard (all were 36 
notes) that was one octave subdivided into 36 notes, a la John Cage.
