eBay Chamberlin M-1

eBay Chamberlin M-1

I tell ya, I'd sure love to have one of those things...yet they look
like they are made of cheapo 5/8" medium density particle board,
skinned over with woodgrain contact paper. One bump in transit between
the seller and the buyer, and I wouldn't doubt the cabinet would tweak
& crumble.

Actually the road cases or "shipping trunks" that were made for these are
pretty sturdy, but if a road case isn't available the best thing to do is
have it boxed and then inserted inside another much larger box with padding
around so that it will never take the direct brunt of any bumps or falls.
That's what Joe Vannelli and I did to transport one.

Chris
