Mellotronists

Hi all,
       I'd need to know when it was manufactured (M400
S Serial Number 1396), a friend of mine has this one,
but he doesn't get much information about it, so that
it was given as an inheritance. Could you help me?.

Hi all,
       thanks for the information!!, a friend of mine
was finding out about it, and he said it was built in
1973 or 1974 aprox., so this is a tron from the
seventies.
