Relayer
2002-05-09 by Tony Moffett
Relayer being Moraz's only album with YES
is just different, but not without merit. He dragged more equipment around
the world than anyone had before him. Having heard it live several times
believe me the man can play!
Perhaps my bias is due to two things, 1. I've
met him several times and he is the nicest fellow you'll find (he records in
Orlando near me), and 2. all those instruments fit the bands bill at the
time.
Still amazes me that some of you people are
so critical with regard to pioneering Mellotron bands, but this obviously isn't
going to change. Considering all the crap out there musically (then and
now) we ought to relish in the music of bands like YES, I know I
do.

the green Moraz solo "Golf Tee" album, really just don't like "Relayer."
Like all Yes, it has moments, but they are too few and far between.
