Visit to Streetly

Visit to Streetly

2005-03-19 by Paul Jones

Hi All

Just to say how enjoyable it was to meet Martin, John and Brian
recently at the workshop. They all made time to chat & show me
everything in progress, restoration work, etc. I would recommend it
to anyone who hasn't been.
So I've finally ordered my 'tron.

Paul

"Paul Jones?" Streetly? Mellotron?
Wow, deja vu. Nice work on "The Rain Song," by the way...
(Congratulations!)

A visit to Streetly is always a fun day out. My M400 is in the queue for a
refurb so I had the pleasure quite recently...

Enjoyable? Martin, John???

Are you sure you were actually AT Streetly? Doesn't sound like the
Streetly I know.

Did you order the tron before or after they took you down to the pub
and got at least half a dozen pints down your throat?

Made sure to avoid pub hours, to keep my wits about me and driving
licence intact.

You take all of the fun out of it.
