Correct, Bernie.   Extremism to the left OR  right isn't good.

Right-wingers, Conservatives view all others' perspectives as "commies"
or "liberals." ....Believe me, I knew and grew-up with a few , and decided
to remain neutral  in discussions.  And not to emulate them later-on.

And Left-wingers , Socialists view others' politics as militaristic,
capitalistic,imperialistic,etc, whatever "--istic" you wish to add.
I also know and have friends/relatives of that political persuasion .

....Best to remain independent and hear/weigh the facts from all sides.....

Each have their good/bad points.  "and the strength to know the
difference."

This is all I'll contribute,as this off-topic discussion winds-down.....
