Mellotronists

I REALLY am sick of all the prog bands being filled with men!
I would love to discover any genuine female prog bands!!!! Did 
any exist? I know about Renaissance and Curved Air, but they 
were only 1 singer who was a female! Also, I know about Kate 
Bush, but she wasn't really prog......... Also, were there ever any 
great female mellotronists? Just wondering! Any suggestions 
welcome!

Japanese prog group Ars Nova is an all-girl affair.  Or at least was three
females until the latest record.  I think the new drummer is a bloke.  The
group is very heavy on the chops-heavy ELP end of things.  Not a 'tron
in sight IIRC.

They used samples on at least one album, but none of the 'real thing'. Good
group, BTW - all the right influences (sorry, Martin).
