Hi folks,
I have sampled both my racks for use in my NYC studio when I don't have time to take a project home to work on it. All my samples are at 16/48. I wouldn't think of going below that as my own listening tests found lots of tightness in the low end missing and transparency in the high end missing when heard at 16/22.5. While at first listen, the classic sounds seem to sound o.k. at 22.5, they don't come out of a mix so well. Stay with as high a sample rate as possible. Your sounds will pop out of the mix more easily. In general I find 22.5 a huge compromise as a sample rate. That's my two cents. (aren't I cheap?)
