Stringy things

Hi ya'll,
All this talk of new string sounds prompts me to ask how many of
you out there have or have heard the new "classic strings" from
Streetly"? This sound is a cunning mix of M300(A or B I'm not sure
which) violins with their sharp cutting clarity and the MKII violins for
the breadth and a touch of "that sound". Unfortunately I only have 1
1/2 octaves of this and it's one of the sounds I wish I had a full
keyboard of now. It really is a lovely sound.
Also, while we're on strings there must be quite a few of you out
there with M400 violins. Does anyone have both M400 & MKII
violins. I'd be interested to here how you folks compare the two.
Anyone?
