First off, politics does not belong on this list.

Secondly, if you believe that this weird collection of propaganda is
remotely like reasoned, researched, honest, intelligent political
discourse, you're very confused.

Third, if a party (any party) employs that kind of propaganda in their
campaign, you should fully expect that they'll use similar measures if
they're elected.

Not to dismiss the great statesman Bruce Springsteen's accomplishments
in world affairs, but he probably missed this:

With the greatest of respect, please read your first line again. I 
fully agree that political discussion does not belong on this list.
