Moody Bluegrass

Moody Bluegrass

2004-10-14 by George Summers

Muzak, the "Sound Alikes", elevator music thru the basement,
includes, the spoken poem, "Late Lament", move over Lord Laurence
Olivier, they don't even bother to make a little change and sing,
I'm just a singer in a bluegrass band, no they sing rock n' roll
band, "It's Up to You" with a female vocalist is the only clip on
amazon that sounds like music, I bet Patrick Moraz contacts these
guys to join the band, if Ray Thomas hears this I bet he'll retire
his ears, if Mike Pinder hears this he'll rejoin the Moody Blues so
that he can sue these guys, these "nashville" guys have reached
the "M"s and must be working toward "Z", like ZZ Top.

Holy krap, y'mean they honed their chops on Abba?

And as far as the caterwauling 3 fiddles tape frame comment earlier
goes...I'd be more fearful of the three banjos. I bet when they got
to King Crimson's "Sailor's Tale", it must have knocked 'em on their
asses.

Hey 'Trongirl,

No no no, not Abba... AC/DC:

"Hayseed Dixie, A Hillbilly Tribute to AC/DC"
  http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00005CCB0/104-5146517-1694352

And there are a whole bunch of bluegrass Pink Floyd albums.

Doing a quick search... oh man, these bluegrass cover albums have
become more popular than I knew. I'll bet you could go pretty far
alphabetically.
