Greetings JKB and all,

Agreed, but as the years march on, will be more difficult to find them.
These people would have been among the first "lounge lizards",
with empty drink-glasses atop the Trons for tips.

I've heard of an old MK-II demo filmed on British ABC notework,
with Tron bits and pieces animated to 100% orig. R-F-L as the Tron
was being assembled ....very cute........The entire production ended
appropriately with Bill Fransen's "Yeah!" as the top cover was closed.

I also heard about a demo using M300 with full LH section in use as well.
These items are crying to be duplicated and be seen/heard .

Finally, I have a cassette copy given me by Pierre Veilleux of an older
radio program(me) recorded for Montreal public radio . But not released.
Was nicely done in a studio in collaboration with Pierre's buddy Guy.
Pierre's own collection of musical instruments are heard , from his M1
up to and incl the MK-V . Full-demos....All in French, but easy to follow
and great to listen-to. Pierre and I often discussed creating an English

version of that program(me), but only talk to this point....

I leave you all to ponder the following....What we play/record &
document about our Trons today will become the "Mellotron Archives"
of tomorrow. Cheers, -- JK --

Other than my own satirical composition for the tron ("The Mellotron Song" is somewhere on Mr. Ken Leonard's website), are there any other songs written about the tron? I'd be curious to see if any are more stupid than my own.

Fritz m400#1697......still have the song title "The Angry Wind" as the working title of the next installment of musicas farcicus. It will be a cowboy song about a flatulent sheriff based in the American Southwest with a Scotish accent so thick that no one can understand him. I'm hoping Mr. Mack Thackerston of Edinbruh' will agree to the collaboration. Not to worry oh politically correct ones, there will be plenty of barbs for all.

This joke is just going to run and run, isn't it? You eat -one- dodgy
curry and managed to pollute and clear an entire *music warehouse*, a
pub full of suits and manage to make Ian McDonald scream when he uses
the hotel toilet after you...
