Mellotronists

A few days ago I saw the film "I Am Sam" starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Sean 
Penn. The film uses several Beatle songs (covers, sung by others), mostly 
from their later period as a musical backdrop. I imagined myself to be 
hearing some tron flute in there somewhere. Alas, it was could well have been 
real flute. But does anybody know if a tron was ever used in these renditions 
of Beatle songs in this film?

Do you remember which song had the flute sound?  I thought it sounded 
like tron violins in Sheryl Crow's rendition of "Mother Nature's Son" 
(and, she has been known to use a tron before).  The liner notes I found 
on B&N's site 
(http://music.barnesandnoble.com/search/product.asp?ean=638812711946) 
don't list a tron, but sometimes a tron may be just listed as 
"keyboards."  Other tron fans on the soundtrack are Aimee Mann and 
Michael Penn but I couldn't hear it on their song either.
