Dear All,

To those of you in other parts of the world other than the UK, we have lost 
the comic genius who inspired Mel Brooks and Monty Python.  Spike Milligan is 
a hero to lots of us over here and it's an absolute bugger that he's gone.

If you've never experienced the Goon Show than hunt it down.  If you never 
saw the Q2 tv series, find it.  If you've never read Puckoon then do yourself 
a favour.  And make sure you don't get arrested for being six foot two in a 
built up area.

Mike, a national day of mourning is in order.

Ah, sorry to hear - another great one gone.
Without Spike, there would have been no Monty Python.
