Listened to this one on the way home from work last night...man,it's the definitive tron demo recording.I loved the way it was used in the film about the Bermuda triangle that Vincent Price narrated.Perfect music...to sail into another dimension:)

Hello all! First, a quick re-intro - this is Tony (London-based tron owner/fanatic and very occasional poster of this parish, back after an insanely busy few months)... What's the name of that Vincent Price/Bermuda Triangle film? I must look out for that. That also reminds me, I'm sure I remember hearing a brief excerpt of Devil's Triangle on an early 70s Doctor Who episode (Jon Pertwee-era, I think) - can't remember the story but there was a brief clip of the Master listening to it on a portable tape player. The film was The Devil's Triangle.....funny enough! Director Richard Winer.... 1974 ish. It was a very cheesy documentary... The music was good tho! Too bad Fripp didn't actually compose The Devil's Triangle soundtrack. Clay

The favored theory to explain the extraordinary mystery of the Bermuda Triangle.... Oceanic flatulence (methane gas from the bottom of the ocean). They have renamed it "The Dickson Triangle". Mike has made thousands of people disappear in the same way. Probably a few planes and ships too. Too many similarities.... The erie music, radio interference, strange green fog in the air....

I saw the same concert that the director of the movie saw, the 1969 West Palm Beach Festival where they played on Friday and Saturday night. They played Mars (The Devil's Triangle) at both shows.

I know exactly what you're talking about. The Master was riding in a car and turned on a transistor radio or tape player or whatever. Out came a lot of violins. It seemed oddly out of context, not unlike when the Beatles made their appearance. I've seen it at least twice. I have NO idea what it was, but at my best reckoning it was neither the "Devil's Triangle" nor Mellotron. Just some over-bearing string section. I'd like to find out what it was, though. ...kl... ::: puts on fan boy hat::: Mind of Evil was the name of the Jon Pertwee
story. The one with the Beatles was with William Hartnell in The Chase, which had
Daleks in it.
