Hi Fritz, That's "NU YAWKA" ......I'm a former "Joiseyite."

Don't record with verb unless 1) you don't have the tracks 2) You are wil;ling to commit to the sound 3)It's not your reverb and you have to give it back.... and other common sense kinds of things. Reverbs are very subjective. I personally don't like verb on my tron much, but when I do, it's either a Lexicon outboard or The Waves Rennaisance Reverb in the computer. Cheapy Lexicons still have better quality than most others

So far, Lexicons are in the majority. Anyone keeping track (pun
intended) ? Hey JB and Martinge, when you get the chance,
gotta quickie question for youse guys.

Do you recall an internal reverb option for the 400's way-back-then?
Would have been located on bottom of cabinet or vertical as in the
M300 and MK-V models.

Cheers, Jerry Korb in Vermont (a "verminer")

I dimly remember a few years ago that when the subject of non-mechanical
reverbs came up, the popular vote back then was for one of the alesis units. the
old 1/2 rack-width microverb did sterling service on 1098's earliest outings
for us, and has come pretty close to being permanently fitted internally.

as for "what the hell are martin and john doing drinking in LA" (with NO
apologies whatsoever to those useless chancers, bran van 3000), I only hope they
find time to meet gene while they're there. my band didn't stumble across the
cat&fiddle but we did find a bar directly opposite tower records where there
was a decent draught boddingtons to be had. the red something......

If only it were *next* week! After today we're off to the air races in Reno.
100th anniversary of flight and all that. So if the blokes from across the
pond are still in town after, the welcome mat is out. I'm afraid I've used
up my stock of Old Speckled Hen, however... Guinness draught is easy to
find...
