Being a notoriously immoral person, and very proud
of it, I hope that I'm not the one being accused of taking any moral high
ground. If I ended up there, it was a simple navigational error, and I'll
turn the map back rightside up.
I personally really don't give a flying fuck who likes
each other or doesn't. I am not an altruist or a feel-goody type. I
am looking out for my own self-interest, because I want for this amazing
resource of knowledge and skills to remain as intact as possible, and to
continue to grow.
As far as anybody being foxes and anybody else being a
chicken coop, good grief, aren't we really discussing the ultimate fate of the
Mellotron here? If unwelcome situations occurred, it's too late to go back
in time, and the situations just have to be dealt with as reality.
Remember, things always change.
My only desire is to see that the knowledge pool gets as
deep as it can, stays that way, and it just seems to me that if some folks are
thin-skinned, that it's only common sense to not intentionally sit behind them
on the bus and flick their ears from time to time. It accomplishes nothing
and only sets small ripples in motion that slowly build across time and can turn
into unintentional tidal waves that really can do some damage.
Free speech? You bet your sweet ass.
If I were to tell you that in my opinion, there's a couple people
on the list that are obvious dickheads, does my opinion really matter to
anyone? Does it behoove me to say who they are? Does anybody
care? The punishment for being a dickhead is being a
dickhead. Can't we at least try to agree that we are all on this list
for the same reason, the preservation, continued development and enjoyment "of
all things Mellotronic" and try to stay focused on that?
By the way, research has proven that carrying a chip on
your shoulder does NOT increase penis size.
