HI gang
just picked up R.W.'s new CD OUT THERE and there is ample use of
either sampled or real tron sounds(hard to tell which in some
spots). Some of it is definitely sampled but a couple places it sounds
like a real one.

I suspect that if he's used samples on some of the album, that's all he'll
have used. I'm surprised he's even gone that far, to be honest... Is the
album actually any good, BTW?

Is Rick Wakeman actually any good, mores the point? ;-)
Good point - I haven't been especially kind to him in my reviews of his
'Tron stuff:

He can still play like a bastard, though.

Having done a few listens,I would say it's an "okay" album, but not
his greatest work.Damian Wilson's vocals are a bit too heavy metalish
for my tastes, and some of the songs are a bit too
straightforward, hard rockin type. There are some proggy moments though.
