Streetly's announcement!

Streetly's announcement!

2003-03-17 by fdoddy@aol.com

Dear all,
I am experiencing some problems with my email and would love an update on
the announcement Martinge made last week. I hope I haven't missed much.
I have shelved my plans to record strings for tronification indefinately
due to the fact that I am overloaded at work and my album takes precedence
over other projects, and that project is going slow. I do, however, have an
excellent recording of a plucked piano that I made for a client of mine that
I will be sending off to Streetly.
It falls in the area of hammered dulcimer/santur/ tack piano. I have gotten
great reviews from the other composers at work so I think it will be a good
addition to the library. It takes on a chorused harmonium sound with a volume
pedal.

Fritzolization,

You didn't miss nuffink. Just some wanker named Martinge going on about
being constipated again. You know what it's like...

um... I already have a plucked piano courtesy of the streetly boys, and it
does indeed sound a bit dulcimer-like. it's on a frame with the ordinary
feathered variety..... it'll be interesting to compare them.

Do you mean the announcement about production of Streetly 'trons
later this year(T550s and standard M400s) ? That sounds like a great
idea! Martinge....Tell us more please.

Yeah, well.... mine's newer and uh... better? and it's tuned to A-440 and played on a Yamaha C7 that is in need of new hammers and pads.

Big props to Streetly on the big announcement!!! Very, very exciting..
