The last one on EBay was in LA and sold for $3250 if I recall correctly
(bidding jumped by a thousand dollars at the last minute), and it was
indicated as having Santana provenance. The New Jersey Mellotron was the
one purported to have King Crimson provenance, but it was pulled out of
bidding with a note sent to those who inquired about it indicating that the
EBay seller felt he had been duped by the person he was supposed to be
acquiring it from. "MainPsych" on the list might have some further info
regarding the LA "Santana-tron" and its seller.
