Trying to figure out a particular Mellotron sound on the "Spring" CD

Trying to figure out a particular Mellotron sound on the "Spring" CD

Maybe some of you have the tri-fold RCA Neon NE6 original, or the
Arkana LP reish...but on the Laser's Edge LE 1012 version on CD, the
lead Mellotron that comes in right around the 4:15 mark on the first
song (The Prisoner Eight By Ten)...what sounds are on the tape? I
went through all the Mark 2 sound clips and couldn't match it. The
attack on each note as quickly as the keys were depressed is
incredible...very responsive and right on cue with each keystroke.
Brass? Woodwinds? Jeez, I can't make it out. Sounds like Tcheee Tchee
Tcheee Dededee de dee Tchee Tchee

What ever it is, I want it in my next rack along with a few full
choirs.

Hi MellyGirl,

If you plan on putting a choir bank together, I highly recommend the
Russian Choir. It's available from Streetly Electronics and you can
hear it here:
