Try Doug Larson Imports out of New Jersey. He has the most obscure 'tron prog delights ever to be found. Fast & reliable guy. http://www.hicom.net/~dlarson/ Here are a few obscurities I snagged from him that are pretty tronned up: -Il Balletto di Bronzo - Ys -Osanna - Palepoli -Cyrille Verdeaux - Clearlight Symphony -Earth & Fire - Song of the Marching Children -Sandrose Enjoy! They are also all outstanding albums full of inventive, imaginative music every bit as creative as that produced by better known, mellotron-armed, contemporaries Yes, Genesis, King Crimson, Greenslade, etc. -- Cheers, SDM -- a 21st century schizoid man http://systemstheory.net internet music project http://thecleanersystem.com software for dry cleaners NP: nothing

Heck...seeing the cover image...I got that vinyl in storage. Can't remember a darn thing about the music though; I can tell you it didn't get a whole lot of listening back in the day. Maybe it's time to get it out again and give it another go-round, maybe transfer it to CD....????? Regards, MSB ----- Original Message -----

Where, in the UK, can one purchase the Sandrose, and other "tronned up" classic CDs? Are there any good prog-rock-shops that can deliver quicly and not rip you off? Earth and Fire's "Atlantis" is pretty "tronned up" too, by the way. Aidan ----- Original Message -----

I feel the same way about my tastes in music. Most of the time anyway, people are like "melloowhut?" (in super Southern drawl). Then when you explain the mechanism w/tapes, etc. the puzzled look sets in. Whattya expect..I live in Atlanta GA! here are a couple of other albums worth checking out with tasty 'tron that may or may not be obscure but rock: -Cherry Five (members of Goblin - pre-Goblin) -Samla Sammaz Manna - Maltid (kind of wacky Mothers of I. influenced) -Cosmic Jokers - Galactic Supermarket (Klaus Schulze) -Herbie Hancock - Sextant -most of PFM albums - essential happy holidays! There is not much 'tron on that album, though, but what is there is good
stuph.

++Only the first three Italian releases.
And there are the first two Procession releases.
