I recall a recent message about a special tape offer.  Is that deal 
still available?  I can't find the original message.  Can you repeat 
it please?

It went something like...

JB and myself have been tireless supporters of the original EMI tape used in 
Mellotrons by Streetly.  This stock had and still has the best drive 
characteristics of all formulations.  It will stabilise a machine that isn't 
in the best shape and reduce wobblies significantly.  The good news is that 
after a dearth of this tape for the past five years we now have genuine EMI 
stock available in 3/8" format.  

So here's the deal..........
We are offering a tape amnesty.  Send us the old middle C from your 
troublesome tapes and we'll replace the full set at half price(plus p+p) on 
original EMI stock. You can even change the selection.  Please quote your 
machine serial number when ordering.  Thanks.  

... which seems pretty reasonable to me, but what would I know ;-)
