I have recently noticed that my hair has started to thin and turn a bit gray. I have noticed other Mellotron owners with what appears to be the same affliction. So I'm beginning to think that if you have a Mellotron long enough, this is likely to happen. Back in 2002 when I first acquired a Mellotron in the modern age, I had more hair and no gray. When I was young I had one, but only for a short time so it didn't have a chance to cause any changes. Over the last several years I have been pretty much surrounded by them and my hair seems to be thinning and turning gray. There has to be a correlation.

I'm afraid I can't vouch for your theory Frank...my hair is almost all grey and there is an advancing balding area on the top (that fortunately I don't have to look at in the mirror)....and I have no Mellotron.

Now there may be something to LISTENING to Mellotron music and the greying/thining phenomena.....
