Mellotronists

I taped JM Jarres performance in my country two weeks ago, and studied it a bit. 
It's quite interesting actually. Most of the time he has using a NordLead and some
sort of touch pad to trig weird electronic noises. But in the background i noticed
a VCS3, a MiniMoog and lo and behold an M400. (Or maybe it was a Mark VI). 
It's a well known thing that he used mellotrons on the old recordings, but I didn't
know that he still performed with them. After all it was an outdoor concert and it 
started to rain as always in this country. You could even see the raindrops on his 
NordLead. Not the best environment for any vintage instruments. 
He also played a theremin. Good show with the waving in the air.
