Mellotron repairs in the San Francisco area

Mellotron repairs in the San Francisco area

2009-05-27 by John Hofmeyer

Hello,

I tried - and failed - to get my M400 running. I purchased it several years ago from a fellow Mellotronist (hello Mr D !) thinking I'd spend weekend & evenings on getting it running.

But, I got married - then we had a baby - then we had to buy a house. The entire chain of events left the M400 in the corner, collecting dust. Fortunately, my violin-playing wife shares my fondness for the Mellotron - and would like to see it running as well.

Any recommendations for a good mellotron tech in the San Francisco Bay area? If not, I recall a list member in So Cal did some wrenching on these babies.

Thanks,

-John Hofmeyer

Streetly's "West Coast Rep" Paul, perhaps? I don't recall where in CA
he is, however.

You can get his e-mail from the Streetly site -
