I have set-up a new mellotron Yahoo group.
I will be inviting all of the active members of the current list to
come across to the new list.

I don't think that anyone should have to be an administrator
indefinitely, so we will be changing the administrator every year.

I don't want you to see this as a "coup d'etat". You are welcome to
join the new group if you wish.

A couple of you have PM'd me saying that he was "just
joking around". Well, I have enough problems in life
without some guy making VERY REAL threats to satisfy
some need he has to be THE BIG ENGLISH CLASS CLOWN
THAT WILL SAY WHAT OTHERS WILL NOT. It's old and
tired, overly aggressive and is one of the biggest
reasons that I seldom post here. This list has lost a
HUGE number of very valued, well informed members
because of this kind of crap. DK, Brian Kehew, Jim
Blair.....on and on.....


I think this list needs MORE moderation not less and
NOT another list that will even further the dispersion
of interest.

At one time, this list had nearly 1000 members. Now
Clay says there are 486, half of which are "dead". I
don't wonder.

The new group was NOT launched because of English Clowns or because of
humourless / fearful Americans. I think that Dickson is from Saudi
Arabia in any case. He's a significant gas producer.

The new list was NOT launched as a Streetly Club. I am a MK VI owner
and a Dave/Markus fan as well as a Martin/John fan.

There are 16 members on the new group. If you join the group Mark,
try to loose the ancient history and have some fun with us.
