New Album for Free: DOMUS

New Album for Free: DOMUS

2007-11-14 by Mike Dickson

Good people -

Go visit http://www.mikedickson.org.uk/domus where you will find my
latest creation; my album named DOMUS.

All for free - no catches, no strings, no costs. Eight tracks including
my take on Philip Glass' METAMORPHOSIS'.

Mellotrons aplenty and much gentle soothing music to be heard.

If this interests you then the preceding album SIX CONSEQUENCES is still
available from http://www.mikedickson.org.uk/six_consequences/ for
exactly the same financial arrangement.

Hope you all find this interesting. The Domus web site is not yet
complete but the music is, so I thought the people of this web site
would be interested in getting a first listen to it.

Any and all comments are welcomed.

The track Serendip. Awesome choirs! Is that the Symphony of Voices
sample library? This is *very* nicely arranged and recorded.

You really piss me off Dickson. Where do you find the time to do this
stuff?

Obviously I'm biased, so YMMV regarding anything I say. But I think Mike
has done another outstanding job of taking the listener back the the
headspace best defined by classic Tangerine Dream. I've listened to it
several times this morning while programming. Superb.

It's not symphony of voices; it's a blend of about four different choirs.

I gave up masturbating. It's amazing how long the days seem now.
