I use a pair of Mackie SA1520z powered cabinets in my rehearsal room.
Overkill, but they sound awesome. I think this debate is more about
personal taste than anything else, but I know one thing for sure - it's easier
to make high fidelity amps and speakers sound crappy than it is to
make crappy amps and speakers sound good.
