Anybody using an Ernie Ball 6166 Mono Volume Pedal for their Tron? Did you have to rewire it internally or use some sort of cable adaptor? I've been using a Yamaha FC7 Volume Pedal, but it's pretty noisy and a little uncomfortable to use. Other suggestions also welcome. Bernie

I'm really liking my Morley CSV (compact stereo volume) because it's passive (no damned battery) and clean and has a nice smooth linear response curve instead of the "directly from quiet to loud" that all of the other pedals I've used exhibit. Of course, it also works as a mono pedal. ----- Original Message -----

I've always liked the Morley pedals; very smooth. I went for the Yamaha just because it's a keyboard pedal. Did you have to rewire your Morley to plug it into your Tron's pedal jack or are you plugging the Tron's output into the pedal then into an amp? --- In Mellotronists@yahoogroups.com, "jonesalley" <jonesalley@...> wrote: > > I'm really liking my Morley CSV (compact stereo volume) because it's passive > (no damned battery) and clean and has a nice smooth linear response curve > instead of the "directly from quiet to loud" that all of the other pedals > I've used exhibit. I always wear comfortable shoes; ask Ken L.
I don't think the pot is the problem (although it has been in the past ) Sounds more like a bad connection; intermittent hum and other extraneous noises.

Yeah, it's pretty nice, but I have an Ernie Ball for my guitars and I just like the feel of it better. I'm using it as a volume pedal rather than an expression pedal, as the Mk V has two outputs, the outputs go to the Morley and then to the mixer. I love the Yamaha/Korg pedal too, I have a half-dozen of them, but I use them mostly for MIDI expression pedals with my synths.
