Sounds like Tom Robinson isn't happy with iTunes. Interesting
breakdown of where the money goes:
-iTunes downloads cost 79p per track
-Writer/publisher get 6p
-Performer 6-8p
-Visa/Mastercard 7p
-Apple 12p
-Record Company almost 50p

Sod that. He's posted a pile of free MP3's on http://www.tomrobinson.com/

Tom Brislin told me that Spiraling is getting more than 50 cents per song from iTunes. Fritz, what about you?

Compare this to the incessant bleating of the record companies about how
downloading hurts artists, and it shouldn't be too difficult to discern
their real motives, eh?
