Blues prog rock and does this reply work

2007-01-24 by Mark Pring

Posting this more to see if it appears than anything else, I don't think there are any absolute standards of good and bad outside of ourselves. So you either like the blues and or progressive rock or you don't. You will like some bands and not others. I like Barclay James Harvest and don't like the Moody Blues or what I've heard of Gentle Giant ( admittedly not much ). I could actually be persuaded that the Moody Blues were "better" than BJH but I still wouldn't listen to them!

I don't think the simplicity verses complextity arguement is valid, after all there are only 12 notes in a scale anyway.

I don't think this post makes much sense.
