Brilliant! Unfortunately, it's not one of the trial downloads being
offered. I'm about to get out the ol' microcassette recorder and
stick it up to the speakers, like I did when I was 12 and wanted to
listen to my 45 of Ballroom Blitz while I rode my bike. Got any
better ideas?

Yes.
There is a program available on the Internet called, "Sound Capture." It is very easy to use and is free. It can record anything that goes through your sound card and save it as an MP3 file. It also is great for capturing sound tracks off of DVDs.
This should hook you up.

Hi !

For Mac, there is WireTap Pro. It's an excellent application which works like Sound Capture and you can save in many audio formats (mp3, aac, aiff, quicktime...). It's a shareware.

Cheers,

Doesn't Windows have a crude audio recorder built in? I use CoolEditPro, and there are various others, but they tend to cost... Thanks for the mental image you conjured up, too, Jason. :-)

Thanks for the tip. Really enjoyed program. A lot of info for a
half hour and there were some good points brought to light. I took
line out from my computer and went into my cd recorder, of course
you can use other recording devices, but thankfully it now joins the
Archives. Also got the 69 KC live at Fillmore mentioned elsewhere.
