Thanks to all the folks who've been sending sound files to Mike to
fill in the gaps in the Streetly Tape Library and thanks to Mike for
all the work he's been doing lately getting the website up to date.
Also, thanks to the folks who've been creating the new sounds and
thanks to the Streetly gang for making so many great, new sounds
available to us.

You can't be serious. But, I'll bite. "The Musical Box" from Nursery
Cryme.
I also liked the "21st Century Schizoid Man" quote.

No, that's the 12 string guitar. I was referring to thre Giltrap guitar
harmonics. I suspect that only UK readers *of a certain age* will get it.

Mike,
I really want to thank you for all your work and Musicianship in
playing all these great and unique sounds for the mellotron community!!! I still
am blown away by the glenn miller sound set. Damn, It can takes me back to
when my Dad played this on the old "Hifi"

Thanks again,
                                                                       Jimmy

It's a pleasure.

You're relatively lucky, then. My dad was keen on military bands,
particularly on a Sunday morning. The GM set absolutely astonished me
when I first heard it as well!

It's only a moment? ; When is it going to stop? I'm getting tired of mine.

Mike, I also really like the Glenn Miller set. Is this a new
concoction made from the old sounds or something that's been hanging
around in the archives all these years? Can we expect any more gems
like this to appear?

Bernie,

The sound is a blend of existing takes that was done about 5 years ago but
never used. The way it works is a revelation to us as well. I remember
asking Rick B for the magic mix that would give a Glenn Miller feel. He must have
been right. First time ever.
