The Mellotron pictured is the rare 4-Track model, of which only 4 were made. That photo was heisted(or borrowed) from that of Robert Laughton who still owned the unit at the time. All the knobs were vol/pan/3-band EQ for each of the 4-preamps used in that particular model. It also was made in the USA in Southbury Conn. An aluminum gutter/sheetmetal shop now occupies that former location of Bomar Fabricators. 40 seconds,playing time???.....Geez, someone should contact the author of that article and inform him of the gross error. 8-seconds to all Mellotron afficiandos.
