Mellotronists

On Buzzy Linhart's LP "Buzzy" (Philips PHS 600-291) Phil Ryan is
listed as playing "Mellotrane". The first and last track from this
1969 (?) LP has some basic Mk2 string chords on it played by Ryan, and
all of side one is quite dominated by Ryan's wild organ noodlings...a
bit more Crossroads Of Time and not so much In Fields Of Ardath with
his era work with Eyes Of Blue. Interesting how Buzzy and Ryan and
Pugwash Weathers made that transatlantic connection...it had to be
something arranged by the Mercury/Philips/Smash Records label
personnel...no?
