Greetings Mellotronists,
I hereby announce to our List Members that the former MK-V
of Patrick Moraz is up for sale. S/N #104, it is badged as a
Novatron.
This Tron can be seen in Moodies' DVD, "Legend Of A Band,"
played by PM in "The Voice." This was one of two such MK-V's
once owned by PM.
Some other facts and info about this MK-V :
Cabinet modified and rebuilt to be approx 9-inches taller.
Contains original Moodies/YES tapes from 1979-1981.
105 Moraz SFX, plus Yes Violin Phrases,Moog Brass, and Cello.
Aftermarket MXR Phase Shifter installed into preamp audio ckts.
Once had a ring modulator, but long since removed.
Serviced by Streetly #1 in 1981. JB's initials/date within.
-- Reminds me of a slogan : "Don't scrap it. J-B it ! "
5/104 also includes Patrick Moraz's road-case, with his unique
"golf-tee- "I" logo on exterior. See "before" photos attached.
* NOTE : Moraz-O-Tron 5/104 is undergoing a full re-do here
at the Mellotron Ranch. Will be fully functional and ready for a
new owner/home. Present owner is Ben Vehorn of Newark DE.
He's relatively near our List members Shane Trimble, Jimmy Moore,
Jeff Coulter and others of the Philly-Brandywine region.
Ben would like to sell 5/104 by early fall, so he's motivated to
negotiate a deal on this notable MK-V plus Moraz road-case.
All interested , please contact me off-list , we can discuss misc.
particulars. I will put you in direct contact with Ben , if you're
serious about making/finalising a deal .
Have a great weekend ahead. Keep cool/comfy in this HHH weather !
Cheers, -- JK at the Mellotron RanchMessage
