GREAT VIDEO!!!! I remember the first time I heard Floyd. I was 13 and my friend and I were checking the record bins at K-Mart. We discovered this really cool album from a band named "Pink Floyd"... Never heard of them. It was a double album called "Ummagumma" and had a really cool cover. It was like $4. So we both purchased copies and went home to our respective houses and listened to it. What an eye-opening moment that was for me. Love Rick Wright's Farfisa organ. Astronomy Domine is on that album, but with David Gilmore performing it. I saw Floyd in 1970 during their first US tour... Then saw the Dark Side of the Moon tour a year or two later... Then saw their last tour a few years ago (the DVD will be out any day now.. GET IT). I was pleasantly surprised to hear them open once again with Astronomy Domine. All with a 60's "overhead projector" light show... _____ From: Mellotronists@yahoogroups.com [mailto:Mellotronists@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of ceccles_ca Sent: Tuesday, July 11, 2006 9:48 AM To: Mellotronists@yahoogroups.com Subject: [Mellotronists] Re: goodbye Syd Live performance of Astronomy Domine http://www.youtube. <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nG4d3dZN_to> com/watch?v=nG4d3dZN_to
