For me it has got to be John Paul Jones on "The Rain Song".. Before I even knew that it was a mellotron making all of that music it had me completley in awe.. Probably one of my first 'Tron moments, although you can't see JPJ playing it in 'The Song Remains the Same'. Prefer the live version, myself - less 'cheesy' arrangement, particularly on guitar.
