Mellotronists

Hi all...

A have a Chamberlin that I'm going to be selling to a friend of mine, and I
want to make sure we're on the same page value-wise.
We're thinking 5-6K or so?

I haven't seen one sell in years and years, so I thought I'd run it past you
folks.

It's in great condition, with all the original paper labels intact and the
cabinet undamaged.  It plays and sounds great, although it takes about an
hour of warming up before some notes will play without warbling...

On another note, has anyone here played a Memotron?
How do they sound and feel under the fingers?
