Regards, Steve. ______________________________________________________________ Greetings Steve and Gang, Yes, those two chaps with the bad tailors and bad teeth were the financiers of the Mellotron. Nice 1965 Ford Thunderbird in the photo ! Listen to "El Cumbanchiero" , part of 1964 Mellotron Demonstration disc on the "Rime....." CD. Last track.....Faster still.....Mark I , II and SFX models have a nicer "feel" to them, largely due to their design. Fully rotating tape turnbuckles or guides, vertical return springs than curved around lower-frame,etc. Have seen Pierre Veilleux fly across the keys of my own MK-I here two years ago. "Mellotrons must be played slowly and with force."......MYTHBUSTER ! Cheers, -- Jerry Korb (gotta buy a new suit and correct my overbite....)
