Even with something built to be reasonably sturdy and tourworthy like an M400, I was extremely apprehensive about shipping, and ended up driving about 700 miles so that I could transport it myself. I'm just glad that I was able to find one within a reasonable driving distance. Most of all, I'm dreading the road trip I'll need to get it refurbed (one of these days really will come one of these days!) ----- Original Message ----- From: "mellotrongirl" <mellotrongirl@...> To: <Mellotronists@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Wednesday, September 28, 2005 9:45 PM Subject: [Mellotronists] eBay Chamberlin M-1 >I tell ya, I'd sure love to have one of those things...yet they look > like they are made of cheapo 5/8" medium density particle board, > skinned over with woodgrain contact paper.
