And there are two suppliers of 'Tron parts. -- Andy T. ===================================================== Another important factor everyone. Originality...... By sheer luck , every Tron I've come-across has had NO problems with pinch-rollers. MK-I models are fitted with alum. axles, as opposed to steel axles in subsequent models. A miniscule amount of film removal on circumference, all 70 were AOK. Not bad for age 41+, eh? If and when new pinchrollers are needed, I will decide whether " Party A or Party B" gets my hard-earned dosh. (Cost,delivery-time,quality) And then , I will chamfer the edges regardless on every new pinchroller schnell,toute-de-suite, pronto,etc.... To-date, almost 400 pinch-rollers were chamfered here at JK Archives.... ..."An ounce (gram) of prevention...........yada,yada,yada" ....... Tired fingers soiled with sandpapered rubber dust are more preferable than wrinkled tapes, WHICHEVER type stock . Old/New EMI,Ampex,BASF, yellow, pink, black, red or shit-brindle-brown. Cheers, JK (.....uses thinner snow tires(tyres) in winter for better traction)
