Mellotronists

The photo was taken by Kean during the three-day filming of the 
Mellotron Sounds and Mellotron Works videos with plenty of 'Troniacs 
in attendance; camping out on-site for the weekend amongst his 
ferrets, dogs, cats and his family. The Mark 2 was only days old 
from being shipped from the UK--and it came along with a great 
woodsy/shellac new furniture smell that saturated the whole house. I 
remember the temperature was in the upper eighties Fahrenheit that 
afternoon, and I was egging Kean to get them wheeled back under 
cover before they all warped! The Mk2 was so thickly shellaced I was 
surprised it didn't shatter like autoglass under the hot sun. He 
wheeled them all out of the cramped dark confines of his converted 
garage for the group shot.
