Hi Gang,       Important topic, as some of our group
are marching forward with time ahead of others.

A former classmate and corp/estate attorney
advised me to "get it in writing" and exact wording
as possible. Else, surviving family or friends could
become "fiends"  .

A buddy of mine in Wisconsin recently made his
will, mentioning beneficiaries of his var. collections
and pers. effects.  "Otherwise,that damn brother
of mine will shitcan everything." End quote...
.......That says it all, I think.

Last year, a man who owned the largest collection
of Edisonia in Baltimore passed-away unexpectedly,
w/o a will. His daughters/family were forced to donate
the entire kit-and-kaboodle to a museum  , or face
hefty fees on material worth $2-Million.  I know, as
I co-appraised the collection for fam/IRS purposes.
.....Another good example for us all......

If you don't know of any deserving individuals who
would be thrilled to be stewards, then consider
museums or such . But again, make your intentions
quite clear on paper.  Remember, a will can always
be changed. But disaster may reign supreme if
there's no will.
