Yes, two years ago today, I managed to persuade someone to let me
take their Mellotron off their hands, and became the proud guardian
of M400 #886.  I'm proud to say the rush hasn't worn off, and she is
still my most beloved, most prized possession, and the one thing in
the world that I will never give up.

Thanks to all of you for the education, the historical perspective,
the support, the knowledge that I'm not the only one under the spell
of the most wonderful keyboard instrument ever invented.  You have no
idea how honored I feel at knowing many of you, and I'd like to add a
special thanks to Don for bringing this list into existence.

Which reminds me that #1145 reaches its 30th birthday this month, which it
will celebrate by being recorded by my brother's band and hopefully (at
last!) my own. Which also reminds me that if anyone out there is at all
interested in Hawkwind, the band I'm in (Litmus) contribute a particularly
fine version of 'Paradox' to the recent 'Daze of the Underground' tribute
CD, my 'Tron to the fore. Or did I already say that?
