Re: [Mellotronists] Pinders cd rom?

2003-10-10 by kathnrich

Hi;
    I have had Pinders' CD now loaded into my ASR-10 now for two years. It
is quite entertaining with the complete M300 loaded, MKII strings,
Chamberlin strings which are one generation closer to the original
recordings than the 400. Some harshness did abound on the recordings due to
the digitazation, but I was able to clear alot of that up with "volume
smoothing" and such.
    The infamous flute and choir are extremely close. I can say all this
because I did own a Mellotron many years ago and have many recordings to
compare it to.
